Regarded as convincing original by Tolnai since 1925.

The red chalk numbering on the back shows that in the 17th century the drawing was at times with Mielke catalog #11 (Landscape with Fortified City) in the same unknown collection (?).

Numbering on verso indicates that the drawing was in the same collection as Mielke No. 11
